There was a place called the "Bark n' Bun" which, miraculously got a breakfast slot. They hurriedly arranged for bagels, muffins, coffee and juice, but always had their "usual" special on the menu.
Jolt and a hot dog.

Not sure how it'd make you go blind, it's just like drinking 2 cokes. Modern day energy drinks have more nowadays.
My daughter now likes that brand of Yerba Mate that comes in a yellow can. Interesting, I thought - I drank a lot of Mate in the 2000s, steeped fromoos
leaves. Mateine is a stimulant in Mate that doesn't cause the same jittersha
caffeine does.o
Then, I looked at the can. It's got tons of sugar and added caffeine! Makes
sense.
Now, that's a breakfast!

Cold pizza sounds disgusting, but the reality is far better. I often
just add some extra tomato sauce (what you Americans call Ketchup) on
the pizza, so its not quite as dry.

I love both of those, but not for breakfast.
I'd say my fav is probably an Egg McMuffin, or a close imitation of it made at home. And black coffee and OJ, of course.
A close second would be a plate of white rice with scrambled eggs (w/ diced tomatoes and onions in them) on top, and several slices of broiled Spam on the side. Little bit of black pepper on the eggs. YUUMMMMMM.

IMO, ketchup on pizza sounds gross. And what we consider tomato sauce is no ketchup.

It makes the leftover hawaian pizza more palatable. I don't get
pineapple on pizza for myself, but the rest of the clan like it, and
they don't eat the left overs. So a bit of sauce, bit of chilli, to
mask the sweetness of the pineapple.

I'm the opposite - I need to wait until everyone's out of town to get a hawaiian pizza!

Although I tend to like pizza with a lot of toppings (what some places call a 'combination', with things like salami, sausage, onion, green pepper, olives, etc.), Hawaiian is one of my favorite kinds of pizza.
Years ago, at my first job (at a Dairy Queen), one time a co-worker was ordering pizza for us, and he was asking what kind we like. I said I tend to like combination pizza, and he said he didn't know what that is. I was a little surprised, since most pizza places I've been to have some kind of pizza they call 'combination'.

If the tomato sauce is like ketchup, as you say, ketchup is also fairly sweet, with a vinegar flavor as well.. I just don't imagine that flavor would go well with pizza, and might not do much to mask sweetness.

We call that a "supreme" pizza around my neck of the woods.

ketchup does, however, go well with fried rice:
cooked rice, ketchup, [onion, green pepper, corn, carrots, peas, chicken.. depends on what you're going for..], stir fried and then squeezed up a bit l you might the contents of a burrito and contained similarly with a thin, preferably runny omelette on top. then ketchup on top of the omelette.

certainly a dish that might be more popular with kids than adults.. which is why the fancy version often ends up with demi-glace sauce instead
i make that and japanese style curry when i go on vacation, for no other rea reason than i coincidentally kept thinking of it around that time a year and came to associate it with vacation :)
